Semua orang cakap, for some reason (still unknown to me) tahun ni raya paling meriah. Saye setuju! I love it today, full of laughter and gorgeous food. Thanks to everyone yang buat open house hari ni!
Weather was brilliant (well, at most times) and sunny! Just love the pics taken outside the community centre ni, full of colours and smiles! 
....and my theme this year is green.

a week in Sabah (part II)

|
Siang tu, kitorang pegi pulau Sapi. Mula2 ingat nak pegi berempat aje. Saya, Adam, Esther dan Laura. Tak sangka pulak adik takde program hari tu. So, ajak la dier skali. Yeay!!
Ticket office @ Jesselton Jetty
Kami bergerak dari jeti Jesselton kat KK. Tambang pergi balik, RM 17.00 and ble sampai pulau pulak kene charge entry fee. Saye mmg tak penah pegi mane2 pulau so, it's kinda new plus agak shocking gak la. Nasib baik Malaysian kene bayar lagi murah dari non-Malaysian. Ahahaa...dalam hal ni, Adam sekali lagi merungut2 sebab ade perbezaan harga. Nasib la wak.
Ble mencecah kaki kat pulau tu....kagum betul tgk air laut yang membiru. Kalo la dapat berenang...well actually tak tau berenang kan. So, tgk aje la orang2 yang lain tu snorkling. Nasib baik bawak adik, terubat kebosanan....ehehhe..

Tak lame duduk berehat, Esther mencadangkan kitorang try la mane2 watersport e.g. parasailing ke jetski ke...well, Adam interested untuk buat Parasiling and he asked me to join him!! Despite of the tight budget, i agreed. Alah, bukan hari2 boleh buat kan?
It was a very very very very fun ride!! Plus I had my first crush screaming along beside me. What more cud I ask? Life is a bless....the view was magnificent. Macam dalam mimpi....Deep blue sea right below our dangling feet and bright clear sky above still out of reach. We soared freely for about half an hour before swapping places with Laura and Esther. Still, it was great fun to watch.

Next, I went jungle trekking with my sister and we tour the whole island in 1 and a half hrs! Bangga kejap
Adam, Laura and esther decided to go snorkling instead. Tanak join kami jalan2 sebab penat.

This view saya dapat when we were just quarter way round the island. No one there except both of us. Such tranquility... Ble continue jalan, more and more mesmerizing view yang kitorang dapat tengok. seronoknye jalan2, ble2 lagi ble takde perkara2 seperti exams and classes mengganggu fikiran. ehhehe...kitorang terus berjalan dan berjalan dan berjalan hingga la kat satu point tu, dah takde trek untuk kitorang follow. Panik la jugak and ade gak terfikir nak patah balik. But ble fikir balik nanti buang masa pulak sebab kitorang sangat yakin yang kitorang dah jalan lebih dari separuh pulau ni. So, kitorang redah aje la, and make sure kitorang tak wander too far away from the beach. nanti masuk sangat dalam hutan sesat terus pulak. Dalam kepanikan sesat dalam hutan tu, boleh la pulak kami still ambik gambar!  memang gle camera la kitorang adik beradik ni...hehehhe
But eventually, kitorang jumpa balik trek yang boleh diikuti and 5 minit lepas tu, kami dah sampai ke kawasan jeti semula. Alhamdulillah... terasa lawak pulak ble kenang2 balik. Sebab kepenatan, kami lepak2 jap sementara menunggu bot datang untuk membawa kitorang balik ke mainland. Budak2 yang snorkling pun dah kembali ke darat semula dan kitorang exchange stories bout our adventures! What a fun day it was~
well, ble balik KK,me and my sis lepak hostel diorang jap. All were sleeping cos it was so tiring. Pastu we went to grab some food and finally, back to my sis's hostel kat ums and had a very peaceful night sleep. ZzzZz...

a week in sabah (part I)

|
Adam(classmate dari England) dan Laura(kawan Irish) datang Malaysia masa cuti summer hari tu. So, i decided to join them ronda-ronda kat Sabah. Lagipun adik dapat masuk Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). so, sambil menyelam minum air. Lawat-lawat la adik sekali masa kat Sabah tu.
bertolak dari KLIA pukul 730 pagi...terpaksalah bangun pukul 4 pagi. Ayah hantar sampai KL Sentral, pastu naik la KLIA express tu. Bersyukur betul ade perkhidmatan macam ni, direct ke KLIA dalam masa 20 minit sahaja. Cantik jugak pemandangan sunrise dari dalam kapal terbang ni.
Sampai aje kat airport Kota Kinabalu, kena la tunggu Adam, Laura dan Esther yang terbang dari Kuching. Bile dah jumpa tu, naik teksi sama-sama. Tapi diorang berhenti kat Kota Kinabalu untuk mencari hostel dan saye meneruskan perjalanan ke UMS. Petang tu, kami bercadang untuk berkumpul kat bandar KK. Saya bawak la adik yang baru sahaja selesai orientasi tu. Maklumlah, dah seminggu duduk UMS tu pun tak penah tengok bandar KK.
Bile dah jumpa kat Kota Kinabalu, Mat saleh tu banyak pulak komen nye. Kadang2 yang bagus2, kadang2 naik berdesing teling nak dengar komen dierang tu. Malaysia panas la, banyak nyamuk la, asyik makan nasik la, takde fresh milk la. Aduh...sabar aje la.
Malam tu, budak2 mat saleh tu bermalam di hostel kat KK, RM20 satu malam, ok la tu. Tapi saye bermalam kat hostel adik,free of charge,lagi ok! ehhehe.. Punye la, subuh pukul 4:30 pagi. Liat jugak nak bangun. Tapi tengok pemandangan cantik, sayang pulak nak tidur balik. Ape lagi, suruh la adik bawak jalan-jalan sekitar UMS. Terkulat-kulat dier nak bangun. hehehe...nasib baik tak marah.

It's been a while..

lame dah tak update fotopage ni. Loads of new pics, but laziness got the best of me. Hehehe..=D
Apepun, dua minggu lepas pegi Germany dengan Aimee dan Jali. Satu negara dah demam bola. Ramai sungguh penyokong dari macam-macam negara. Seperti yang orang selalu kata "satu dunia berkumpul cume nak tgk sebiji bola."
Ada kawan cakap....jangan pegi berjalan dengan couple, nanti you'll be left out. Well, sometimes it was like that. But most of the time, I enjoyed travelling with them both. We did most of things as a group, I'd say. Loads of fun!

happy 21st aimee!!

what happened on the BIG day :
0900: woke up lazily as others are already in the kitchen, preparing 'mee soto' i.e. main course for the day.
0930: chef the honour realized we ran out of some main ingredients, Najmi and I went out to Cooke's Corner; which is a small grocery shop, just 5 minutes walk from our house.
1030: Unexpected delivery man arrived with some packages. Aimee received a bouquet of flower, a teddy bear, and a box of chocolate from her mother kat Malaysia. Awwhhh....so sweet.
1300: Finished cooking and everyone starts getting ready.
1400:Can't hear a thing from my room. Where is everyone? senyap aje, tak jadi buat party ke?
1510: Arrival of guests, Denita and Amira Amir, managed to arrive on time (kinda) despite the heavy rain and the wild wild wind.
1535: Arrival of other guests...aii..janji melayu btul la.

1604: singing happy birthday, and the birthday girl whooshh off all the 21 candles with just one blow. hihi, hope all the wishin' will come true.
1614: everyone started to eat. Mula2 sume malu2 nak makan. Konon. haha!
1700: Still eating, camane nak buat, all the food is delicious.
1730: the guests started leaving and jali had to help his girlfriend washing the dishes. hihi...alamak, we let the birthday girl wash the dishes?? bad housemates!
